We are happy to report, Little Sprouts has obtained all necessary waiver approvals to continue providing child care services for essential personnel. We know there are many families in our community needing care. While we understand and anticipate this need to be only temporary, we would be happy to provide services at this time. Again, we are accepting families that are of "essential personnel" status and required to be working. Policies and Procedures for Covid-19
To ensure the safety and health of our students and staff, we have implemented some new procedures in addition to boosting some old ones:
1. We encourage all staff and community members to protect their personal health.
2. Center signage shows the signs and symptoms so we are aware at all times.
3. Children, parents, and staff should stay home when they are sick.
4. High touch areas are cleaned and sanitized often throughout the day.
5. Event and meetings that require close contact have been postponed indefinitely.
6. We are keeping parents updated on new information about Covid or the center.
7. An emergency plan has been put in place in case of possible outbreak.
8. Students and staff are encouraged to take everyday preventative actions to prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses. These actions include staying home when sick, appropriately covering coughs and sneezes, cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, and washing hands often with soap and water.
